The main functions of the stewardesses are to assist the stewards in the discharge of their duties relative to the ritual of baptism and the Lord's Supper. Stewardesses (1) prepare the implements and elements of the Holy Communion and Holy Baptism and (2) dress the pulpit and altar rail with suitable white coverings for these rituals and suitable colored paraments for the various seasons of the Christian year and for funerals.
Ushers are the official "doorkeepers" and hosts during worship services, providing a frontline ministry of welcome. Among their duties are greeting/seating members and guests, disseminating bulletins and other handouts, collecting the offering, and attending to the needs of the congregants.
Sis. Delores Carter is the ministry leader.
Each Sunday, a greeter from the Hospitality Ministry is one of the first points of contact for welcoming guest worshipers. Once guest worshipers have completed a visitor card, they are introduced during the worship service by a member of the Hospitality Ministry.
Sis. Pamela Reynolds is the ministry leader.
